About All Terrain Capital

All Terrain Capital exists to help experienced land investors use leverage as a strategy to do more deals. ATC is the culmination of decades of lending experience with a fresh approach to serve land investors. Before forming ATC, Brad flipped land and funded deals from his retirement accounts. It only took a few high volume borrowers to deploy most of the retirement funds. In 2021, Brad decided to deploy investors' capital from friends and family to scale up as All Terrain Capital. We’ve each funded countless deals from raw land, single family, and various commercial projects. All Terrain Capital is here to fill an underserved and overlooked need- short term financing for the purchase of raw land.

About Our Founder

Brad

Brad is a sales and marketing mutant with a passion for land.

From private label to private lender... I grew up farming, fishing, and hunting on our family farm. Farming is hard work and can be a risky business, so I moved away to see what was on the horizon. I started buying fix and flip houses in 2006 when everyone could get a loan and prices were discounted. When lenders stopped lending I started looking at additional business opportunities.

In 2012, I started marketing products on Amazon. We created our own private label products and launched products for larger brands. The experience and lessons we learned from launching physical products apply everyday to real estate, lending, and business.

I thought I had a pretty boring, profitable rental portfolio until the checks stopped coming. Everything changed in the middle of the night when one of the residents was smoking in bed and burned down the property. Eventually our insurance saved the day, and I learned a valuable lesson. The big lesson is cash flow is the real asset. Unpredictable renters and the structure are liabilities, especially when it’s on fire. My portfolio pivoted into seller finance, notes, and lending. I’ve been lending on projects big and small since then.

About Our Clients

Not every land investor is a match for our mission. We are on a mission to empower experienced land investors to use leverage to increase the velocity of their business. When an experienced land investor has systems in place to create more deals than cash to fund the deals, this is a good sign.
